Therapy or Life Coaching? Which is right for you?
Ultimately therapy and coaching is a relationship.
Therapy
Therapy often involves looking inward and to the past to uncover how it is influencing us now. Lasting recovery and personal growth can begin with this inward path of discovery.
The therapy relationship provides a safe place for you to be vulnerable. It entails being present, having the courage to look honestly at yourself, your patterns, and your life in order to grow and thrive.
As your therapist I am person centered and approach our work with a holistic focus. I hold a recovery mindset that you can heal and grow. Just as therapy is a relationship, the process of therapy is often about healing the relationship with yourself.
Coaching
With time therapy can help heal wounds. When we feel stronger we are then able to reach even further for our goals.
Coaching supports, guides, instructs, and challenges you in reaching your best possible self. The focus is on becoming fulfilled in your life and work. We adopt a solution focused mindset in our coaching alliance. We focus on building up your strengths while also working on your challenges.
As a coach, I am here to support you by holding you accountable to your own goals. I will challenge you as you grow into the possible self you desire.
